The Brno company in Czechoslovakia produced the 98/29 Mauser from 1931 to 1938 under a military contract for the Persian army. Unfortunately, the orders were never completed as the s took over Czechoslovakia prior to the rifles' completion. The Czech-made Persian Model 98/29 Mauser is considered one of the best Military Mausers ever produced which would make it a crown jewel to add to any firearm collection.
