The Colt Government Model 1911C is a modern variant of the legendary Colt 1911 pistol, known for its ruggedness, reliability, and accuracy. This model is chambered in .45 ACP and features a checkered slide stop, commander hammer, carbon steel mainspring housing with vertical serrations, 25 LPI Checkered Front Strap, low profile thumb safety, Novak brass bead front sight, Novak low mount carry rear sight, and a 7-round magazine.
This Limited Edition Model was only produced in a limited quantity of 5,000 total!

Considered one of the most iconic and enduring handgun designs in history, and widely praised for its numerous features and advantages, the Colt 1911 Government Issue pistol has been used by military and law enforcement agencies around the world for over a century, earning a track record of dependable performance in various conditions. It features an ergonomic design, which includes a grip angle that promotes natural pointing; classic Colt wood grips with a 25 LPI checkered front strap; a blued steel frame; a slide with front serrations for easy manipulation in any situation; and a checkered slide stop.
The 1911 Colt Government also features a well-placed thumb safety supported by a beavertail grip safety that enhances comfort and helps prevent accidental discharges; a commander hammer; a carbon steel mainspring housing with vertical serrations for a balanced weight and better traction; as well as a Novak brass bead front sight, and a Novak low mount carry rear sight for faster target engagement.
