This stunning example is one of only 50 of its kind ever made! It is a Colt Lew Horton Special Edition M1991 Commander! These are exceptionally rare with only 50 ever being produced, and collectors and Colt enthusiasts alike highly prize these pistols! The Colt Commander is a single-action, semi-automatic, magazine-fed, and recoil-operated handgun based on the John M. Browning–designed M1911. It was the first mass-produced American pistol with an aluminium alloy frame and the first Colt pistol to be chambered in 9mm Parabellum.
Colt made several variations of the Commander and offered it in .45 ACP and .38 Super chamberings. Other variants followed with different degrees of factory accurizing and materials.

The owner states that this example remains in New Old Stock condition and we see no evidence to indicate otherwise. Not to mention it comes with the original factory-labelled Colt case and a velvet-lined wood presentation case featuring a cleaning kit, HW Holster, bushing wrench, spare magazine, and ALL contents pictured above!
