According to the factory letter, this Colt was shipped from Colt to Lew Horton Distributing Co. in October of 2018.

Officially named the Model 1991 Government (SKU O1991), the Colt 1991 looks virtually identical to the Colt M1911, but incorporates a few new features. First, we'll start with the traits the Colt 1991 and the Colt 1911 have in common. Both are are single-action, semi-auto pistols chambered in . 45 ACP.
According to the Lew Horton letter,
"This Colt is a part of a small Colt limited production run that shipped entirely to Lew Horton Distributing. These blue 1991's were shipped from Colt witha combat style hammer, fixed dot sights, a checkered front strap and were fitted with wood grips with silver Colt medallions. Only 35 units were shipped to us by Colt. All 35 units were received by Lew Horton Distributing in October of 2018."
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Colt is in PHENOMENAL condition showing no indications of previous consumer use or handling that we can see whatsoever! Additionally, it will ship with the factory labeled Colt hard case, the Lew Horton letter, and all other contents pictured above!
