Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Flag's Gun Shop was started in Millvale Pa in1935 by Edwin Flaig a WW1 veteran. It operated until sometime in the 1980's. Its specialty was high grade custom Mauser rifles and custom shotguns. At its peak it employed 5 gunsmiths and stock makers. Custom rifles were built, tested and stocked on the premises. Stock blanks were milled out and hand finished by there stock makers rather than using pre finished drop in blanks. Flaig's was noted for building rifles that were exceptionally accurate and also beautiful.
