Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
L.W. Seecamp Co. was founded in 1973 as a family business specializing in Ludwig's patented double action conversion of the 1911 semi automatic pistol. This conversion, done during a period when the single-action versus double-action controversy was at it's peak, resulted in the first commercially available DA .45 autoloaders anywhere in the world. Nearly 2000 DA conversions were done from the early 70s to the early 80s. Seecamp did many custom 1911s and was a respected gunsmith, but the double-action conversion of the 1911 is what he is best remembered for.
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this example is in Great condition showing no indications of extensive consumer use or direct mishandling that we can see.
