The New Haven 600 is a series of pump-action shotguns that were made by O.F. Mossberg & Sons. The guns were produced for major department stores such as the Montgomery Ward Company, Western Auto, and other retail stores. The New Haven 600 is one of O.F. Mossberg & Sons' promotional brands. This shotgun is almost identical to the Mossberg 500, but with an anti-rattle system in the magazine tube and no drilled-out top of the receiver for a scope mount. Some of the 600AT models come with adjustable C-Lect Chokes. The 600 series includes various models of hammerless, pump-action repeaters. All of these guns have the same basic receiver and action but differ in bore size, barrel length, choke options, magazine capacity, and "furniture" (stock and forearm) materials.
The Mossberg 600CT is a pump-action shotgun that is chambered in 20 gauge. It has a blue finish and a 28" ventilated rib barrel with a modified choke. The brass bead front sight makes it easy to acquire targets quickly. The classic walnut buttstock and forearm are checkered to provide a secure grip.
