This is a Navy Arms conversion of a Siamese Mauser in 45-70. This rifle has the 18" BBL and is marked Navy Arms CO., Ridgefield, N.J. U.S.A. The bolt handle remains straight and there is a vented recoil pad. It has a Williams rear sight and a ramp front sight with a bead and is not drilled or tapped for a scope. It does have sling swivel studs with an attached sling. This is a unique rifle and reported to be capable of shooting any professionally published load for the 45-70.
