This is the SKS Steel magazine with an extended front lip for Chinese and YUGO style SKS rifles with the 30 round capacity.
You can install by removing the trigger group and existing fixed mag, replace trigger group and fit in detachable mag. Does not have or need an adapter to use on standard SKS, however it will not hold the bolt open on the last shot which is standard with these.

Not recommended for Russian SKS.
