Victor Aramberri was described as "one of the most important manufacturers of shotguns in the 19th Century" who created the Hercules brand. It has been reported that Aramberri worked for Perrazi as a designer before the Aramberri Company was founded in Eibar, Spain.
The Aramberri SXS is a 12 gauge shotgun with rare and beautiful engraving. Some of it's features include a blue nitro proofed steel Hercules barrel, deeley styled latch release, double trigger, sidelock ejector and improved cylinder/cylinder choked barrels. The top right side of the barrel reads "HIJOS DE VICTOR ARAMBERRI Y CIA EIBAR". The shotgun is also proofed by Eibar House, the manufacturers mark of P.P. represents Aramberris trademark, as well as admission to Proof House, Final Proof and Smokeless Powder Proof with an approximate date of 1931. All of the serial numbers match on the barrel, receiver, and the forend. This shotgun is perfect for game hunting or as a collectible piece from the Basque Country in Eibar.
