With the Leupold 3.5-10x40 scope, shooters can trust that their sight picture will be clear, crisp, and bright due to the 1" tube and 40mm objective.
Unlike many other sporting rifles, this one is coated with Cerakote, a ceramic based finish that is proven to provide superior rust prevention qualities. In a head-to-head salt spray corrosion test, Cerakote outlasted the competition by almost 1900 hours without showing any signs of oxidation.
Knowing there will be enough power to take down your harvest when you pull the trigger is a comforting thought when lining up your shot. The 7mm Remington Magnum, based on Hornady's data with 175 grain ELDX, achieves 2900 FPS at the muzzle and only drops below 2000 at around the 730 yard mark. If zeroed at 250 yards, the trajectory stays within an incredibly tight 4 inches out to 300 yards, which makes those close range shots an easy point blank hold. A more significant drop can be seen at 400 yards with a loss of around 14.5 inches, but still holding strong at 2387 FPS.
