Limited Edition Legendary Commemoratives Winchester Model AE University of Wyoming Commemorative Lever Action Carbine, with Gun Case and Wood Display Case. This is rifle #41 of only 100 that were commissioned by Legendary Commemoratives and is so numbered on the upper tang. Chambered in .45 LC cal., with a 20" round barrel. Metal is 24k gold plated and the top of the bolt is jeweled. Receiver features extensive laser engraving of various University of Wyoming and cowboy themed motifs with scroll borders. Portion of large loop lever and rear of the barrel also with areas of scroll engraving. Straight grip walnut stock and forend are laser engraved with beautiful scroll work and other Wyoming related images. Stock is finished with a standard black composition Winchester buttplate. Sights include a blade front and standard sporting rear with elevator, with cross-bolt safety and gold-plated saddle ring.
Accompanied by a COA, a locking canvas and leather covered carrying case with fitted green interior, glass topped locking oak display case with mirrored back, and display stands. The rifle is in excellent unfired condition. There is no finish loss, engraving is crisp and clear, 24k gold plating with intermittent light handling marks. Wood also has a few minor handling and storage type marks, with one small but more noticeable impression to the left side of the buttstock, near the engraved Wyoming "bucking horse and rider". The original cable tie from Legendary Commemoratives remains on the lever. Canvas covered case is excellent, interior is like new, exterior with a few light storage type marks. Oak display case has only a few moderate scratches and impressions to the exterior.
