Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
This Winchester 10 Gauge is a very elegant design with it's damascus twist barrels, engraved side plates, dual triggers, and expertly checkered stock and forend. For it's age, the lock is still very tight and snaps closed with a satisfying click. Unfortunately, also due to it's age, the hammer springs have weakened significantly, and the stock has cracked at the wrist. Thankfully, there are no chips or missing sections, so a qualified gunsmith specializing in conservation can repair these issues easily.
NOTE: It is recommended that shotguns with Damascus twist barrels be inspected be a certified gunsmith before firing and only be loaded with black powder shells if fired. The slow burning powder significantly decreases the potential for catostrophic failure at the breech.
