At the core of its innovation is the bullpup configuration, which positions the action and magazine behind the trigger. This engineering approach drastically shortens the rifle’s overall length to just 28.25 inches, while still retaining a full-length 16-inch barrel, preserving ballistic performance and effective range. The result is a highly compact, maneuverable weapon ideal for both close-quarters use and extended engagements. Designed with versatility and user adaptability in mind, the Hellion features fully ambidextrous controls, including the safety selector, magazine release, bolt release, and charging handle. This comprehensive ambidextrous layout is paired with a reversible case ejection system, allowing the rifle to be configured for left- or right-handed shooters without compromise. 

These features make the Hellion particularly well-suited for shared or professional use, where shooter preferences and handedness may vary. The Hellion also incorporates a two-position adjustable gas system, enabling users to switch between “S” (suppressed) and “N” (normal) modes. This adjustment ensures reliable operation across a range of ammunition types and conditions, including suppressed firing, by regulating gas pressure through a short-stroke piston system known for its durability and reduced fouling. To enhance its tactical usability, the Hellion is outfitted with integrated flip-up iron sights. The front sight is elevation adjustable, while the rear sight features a five-position aperture and is windage adjustable, allowing precise customization to match shooter preference and environmental conditions. 

Additionally, the rifle includes quick-detach (QD) sling mounting points on both sides, offering flexible sling configurations for either left- or right-side carry, further reinforcing its ambidextrous design. With its compact size, rugged construction, and exceptional adaptability, the Hellion stands out as a cutting-edge firearm engineered for modern tactical requirements, delivering a perfect balance of portability, performance, and customization.
