This magnificent M1 Garand is built around an original World War II Springfield Armory receiver (serial number 2760237) manufactured in March 1944. It is configured to full National Match specifications, featuring a Springfield Armory barrel (bolt marked "6528287-SA / Z-6"), an operating rod clearly stamped "NM" on the handle, a National Match front sight, and a National Match hooded rear aperture sight marked "520" and "NM". The walnut stock displays a sharp circled "P" proof on the wrist alongside a clear Department of Defense eagle acceptance cartouche on the left flank. The rifle exhibits rich parkerized metal finishes, clean wood, razor-sharp receiver heel roll marks, a mirror-bright bore, and crisp mechanical cycling. Complete with a web sling, this WWII receiver National Match Garand is a standout target rifle for CMP competitors and military collectors.
