The Taurus Circuit Judge, manufactured by Taurus and imported by Braztech, is a versatile multi-caliber revolving carbine designed to bridge the gap between traditional rimmed cartridges and shotshell performance. Chambered in .45 Colt and .410 bore supporting both 2 1/2-inch and 3-inch Magnum shells, it is built around a rugged five-shot swing-out cylinder system paired with an 18 1/2-inch rifled barrel that improves velocity and overall consistency compared to handgun-based configurations, all finished in a durable blue finish that gives it a more traditional, utilitarian appearance. The sights consist of a fixed red fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable green fiber-optic rear sight for faster alignment in varying light conditions, along with an integrated Picatinny rail on the frame for mounting of optics when needed. At the cylinder gap, blast shields are incorporated to help deflect escaping gases and debris during firing, maintaining shooter comfort while preserving the revolver-style operating system. The hardwood buttstock and matching forend provide a solid, balanced feel when shouldered while keeping a classic aesthetic, and the interchangeable choke system allows the platform to be adjusted depending on ammunition type and intended use.
