Bryant Ridge Co. is pleased to present this PRISTINE single-action revolver today for a penny-start auction; this is the USFA Henry Nettleton Government Inspector Series.
 
This USFA Henry Nettleton Government Inspector Series represents an exceptionally scarce and seldom-encountered variation within an already desirable collector line. While the Nettleton Inspector Series is most commonly found in traditional blue and case color hardened finishes—reflecting the original U.S. military configuration—documented nickel-finished examples are virtually absent from the marketplace. Extensive research and market observation reveal no readily available production figures for this specific finish, nor any comparable examples currently or recently offered for sale. This strongly suggests that nickel variants were produced, if at all, in extremely limited numbers, potentially as special order or very small-batch pieces. For advanced collectors, the combination of a historically inspired Nettleton configuration with a highly unusual nickel finish places this revolver into a category of rarity that is rarely seen and difficult to replicate, making it a standout and potentially unique offering within the USFA lineup.

What sets the Nettleton Inspector Series apart is USFA’s commitment to authenticity and craftsmanship, produced during a time when the company was widely regarded for manufacturing some of the finest Colt-pattern revolvers ever made.
