Left side of the lower receiver above the trigger guard is stamped "COLT'S MFG. CO. LLC. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A." next to standard "SAFE" and "FIRE" selector markings. Right side of the magwell is stamped with licensing block text: "LICENSED TRADEMARK OF NEW COLT HOLDING CORP. MADE BY CARL WALTHER GERMANY". Right side of the lower receiver is stamped with the importer data: "U.S. IMPORTER UMAREX USA FORT SMITH AR". Bolt body visible through the ejection port shows Germany proof marks, including a "DE" stamp and an "AK" date/batch code identifier.

The Walther Colt M4 Carbine is a semi-automatic .22 Long Rifle rifle manufactured by Carl Walther under license from Colt, offering an authentic rimfire replica of the iconic AR-15/M4 platform. Designed to closely mirror the appearance and controls of the centerfire M4 Carbine, it features aluminum upper and lower receivers, an adjustable six-position stock, removable carry handle or flat-top receiver (depending on the model), and a blowback-operated action. Its realistic handling, low recoil, and economical .22 LR chambering have made it a popular choice for training, recreational shooting, and introducing new shooters to the AR platform.
