Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Crafted by Carl Walther's master gunsmiths in Ulm, Germany, the Q5 Match Steel Frame "Black Diamond Edition" represents the summit of modern competition handgun craftsmanship. Built on a precision-machined solid steel frame, the Black Diamond Edition undergoes exhaustive hand-polishing before receiving an ultra-hard, mirror-like Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating. This specialized finish provides extraordinary wear resistance while exhibiting a deep, lustrous black obsidian gloss. Outfitted with Walther's renowned Dynamic Performance flat-faced match trigger, an extended flared magwell, wrap-around checkered aluminum grips, optics-ready slide with aggressive lightning cuts, and a micro-adjustable LPA target sight, the Black Diamond is engineered to deliver flat-shooting precision and blistering split times with peerless aesthetics.
This specific example is an authentic 2024 German-manufactured Walther PPQ Q5 Match Steel Frame Black Diamond Edition chambered in 9mm, bearing matching serial number S01-328 across the frame, slide, barrel hood, and factory Negrini case labels. It showcases the dazzling mirror-polished Black Diamond DLC finish, 5-inch match barrel, LPA click-adjustable rear target sight, Walther Dynamic Performance trigger, and custom bronze-toned checkered aluminum grips mated to a matching flared magwell. The pistol presents in pristine, factory-new condition throughout with breathtaking mirror reflectivity and zero mechanical wear. Mechanically, the flat-faced match trigger breaks with surgical, glass-rod perfection, slide-to-frame fit is tight and glass-smooth, and the 5-inch match barrel bore is pristine and mirror-bright with razor-sharp rifling.
