The 1963 Winchester Model 70 is one of the most sought-after examples of the legendary pre-1964 Model 70, representing the final full year of Winchester's original design before the company's famous 1964 redesign. Manufactured by Winchester Repeating Arms Company, the 1963 Model 70 features the iconic controlled-round-feed action with its large Mauser-style claw extractor and fixed-blade ejector, a forged-steel receiver, a precision-machined bolt, a crisp adjustable trigger, and a beautifully finished walnut stock with hand-cut checkering.
