Stock/Grips: Walnut Stock w/ Carved Indians and “RAIN IN THE FACE LOW DOG GALL” inside a banner, along with Scroll Indian Style Pistol Grip on the left and right side. The Left Side of the Forearm is Decorated with Indian Style Carved Decorations with “TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO DIE.” and “LOW DOG SIOUX WAR CHIEF”. The Right side of the Forearm is Decorated the same with “THE SEVENTH CAVALRY”.

Markings: The left side of the receiver depicts Sitting Bull and General George A. Custer along with a description. It also depicts a map along with a ribbon that says “LITTLE BIG HORN JUNE 25, 1876” and Indian / Scroll type engraving. The left side of the barrel is engraved with a ribbon that says “THE LAST STAND”. The right side of the receiver depicts Crazy Horse and a solider looking at a tombstone. It is also decorated with indian / scroll type engraving. The right side of the barrel is engraved with a ribbon that says “THE FIGHTING SEVENTH”.

The Winchester / Investment Arms Model 94AE Battle of Little Big Horn Commemorative appears to be a specialty embellished lever-action rifle built on Winchester’s later Model 94AE platform, likely separate from the better-known 1976 Winchester Little Big Horn Centennial issue. The original Winchester Little Big Horn commemorative was produced in 1976 in .44-40 to mark the 100th anniversary of the 1876 battle, with examples commonly noted as limited to approximately 11,000 rifles and featuring blue/gold finish, 7th Cavalry and Sioux-themed markings, and commemorative packaging. By contrast, an Investment Arms marked or embellished 94AE should be described more cautiously as a privately issued or specialty commemorative unless paperwork confirms Winchester factory issue. Its appeal comes from the combination of the historic Battle of Little Big Horn theme, Winchester lever-action collector interest, and Investment Arms-style presentation embellishment, but any included certificate, edition number, box, sleeve, or Investment Arms documentation should be highlighted because that paperwork is what helps separate it from a standard aftermarket-decorated Model 94AE.
