Manufactured by Zastava Arms in Serbia and imported by Zastava Arms USA, this 5.56x45mm NATO / .223 Remington rifle is engineered around a rugged, stamped 1.5mm steel receiver featuring a reinforced, bulged front trunnion—a heavy-duty structural layout optimized to handle high pressure while ensuring long-term rigidity. Its 18.25-inch, cold-hammer-forged barrel is built for exceptional accuracy, featuring a hollow piston head, a durable chrome-lined bore, a 1:7" twist rate, and a versatile 3-position adjustable gas block that allows shooters to tune the cycling system for different ammunition loads before expanding out to standard 14x1mm left-hand threads capped by a classic slanted muzzle brake. 
 
This specific California-compliant variant tips the scales at 8.5 pounds, coming tailored to meet strict state regulations, replacing the standard 30-round feeding system with a pinned 10-round magazine and a featureless polymer fin grip. To satisfy federal 922r compliance regulations, the rifle utilizes an optimized blend of domestic and foreign components—including the US-made slant brake, stock, handguard, and pistol grip—while preserving an authentic aesthetic highlighted by a striking, premium Serbian Red Wood stock set and a receiver-mounted Yugo-pattern side optic rail.
