The Ruger Mark III Target is a highly regarded semi-automatic rimfire pistol that continued the long tradition of precision and reliability established by the earlier Ruger Standard and Mark II series. Manufactured by Sturm, Ruger & Co. from 2004 until the introduction of the Mark IV, the Mark III Target was chambered in .22 Long Rifle and designed specifically for target shooting, small-game hunting, and recreational use. Built around Ruger’s proven blowback-operated action, the pistol featured a fixed-barrel, tubular-receiver design that contributed to exceptional inherent accuracy and outstanding durability.
