The Ruger New Vaquero is a modern single-action revolver that successfully blends the classic styling and handling characteristics of the Old West Colt Single Action Army with the durability, safety features, and manufacturing precision of modern firearms engineering, making it one of the most popular cowboy-action revolvers produced in the modern era. Manufactured by Sturm, Ruger & Co., the New Vaquero was introduced in 2005 as a redesigned and more traditionally sized successor to the original Ruger Vaquero.
