The Colt Officers Model Match is one of the finest target revolvers ever produced and represents the culmination of Colt's long tradition of precision double-action revolver craftsmanship. Introduced in 1953 by Colt's Manufacturing Company as the successor to the earlier Officers Model Special, the Officers Model Match was specifically designed for competitive target shooting and quickly became a favorite among bullseye competitors, law-enforcement marksmen, and serious revolver enthusiasts.
