This Kimber Factory Letter documents a Custom Covert II (TF Knight Crest) pistol, identified by the serial number SF219000. This specific firearm is chambered in .45 ACP and is configured with a 5-inch barrel, a Desert Tan and Matte Black finish, and Crimson Trace Laser Grips. According to the remarks, this firearm represents Serial Number One of a special edition series, a designation reserved for the inaugural example of a limited production run. The letter further notes that Serial Number One firearms were historically retained within the personal collection of Leslie Edelman, founder and owner of Kimber, and not released to the public.
