This Kimber Factory Letter documents a Custom II (Ridge Runner) pistol, identified by the serial number K240276. This specific firearm is chambered in .45 ACP and is configured with a 5-inch barrel, a matte black finish, and wood grips. According to the remarks, this example is part of a special edition that was retained within the personal holdings of Leslie Edelman, founder and owner of Kimber. Firearms from these retained groups were set aside from general distribution, preserving them as part of a private archive.
