Bryant Ridge Co. is pleased to present this historic USAF unit commemorative pistol today for a penny-start auction; this is the Kimber Pro Carry II (391st Fighter Squadron "Bold Tigers") with Serial Number #391FS00!
This Kimber Factory Letter documents a Pro Carry II pistol, identified by the serial number 391FS00. This specific firearm is chambered in .45 ACP and is configured with a 4-inch barrel, a Black finish, and Wood grips. According to the remarks, this example represents the first serialized firearm produced within its production model line, marking the official beginning of that model's manufacturing history. As with many inaugural examples, firearms bearing Serial Number One were retained within the personal collection of Leslie Edelman, founder and owner of Kimber. The document, signed by Edelman, states that the pistol was released from the Kimber Vault on February 6, 2026, and delivered to Bryant Ridge Co. in Liberty, Kentucky.
Although no official records exist for this specific prototype design, it can reasonably be inferred that this example was produced as a “Mock-Up”. In our research, we have not found any indications that this particular model was put into production whatsoever.

The left grip panel features the "F-15E" emblem, while the right grip panel features the "BOLD TIGERS / 391st FTR SQ" tiger emblem.

On select occasions, Kimber produces highly exclusive, military unit commemorative editions for elite active-duty flight squadrons across the U.S. Armed Forces. This historic specimen—bearing serial number 391FS00—is the inaugural Serial Number One firearm for the USAF 391st Fighter Squadron ("Bold Tigers"), stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, operating the legendary Boeing F-15E Strike Eagle. The slide is custom laser-etched on both the side profile and top-flat with detailed line art of the F-15E Strike Eagle, paired with striking custom orange-and-black tiger-striped G-10 grips deeply engraved with the 391st Fighter Squadron's tiger crest and F-15E emblem.
