This Kimber Factory Letter identifies a Kimber Ultra Carry II (GM LG), bearing the highly significant serial number KGMU000. Chambered in .45 ACP, this compact model features a 3-inch barrel, a matte black finish, and Crimson Trace Laser Grips.The document highlights the firearm's historical importance as Serial Number One, the very first serialized unit produced within its standard production model line. This marks the official beginning of the Ultra Carry II (GM LG) model's manufacturing history. As is common for inaugural examples, this pistol was originally held in the private collection of Kimber's founder and owner, Leslie Edelman. The letter, signed by Edelman and dated February 6, 2026, confirms its release from the Kimber Vault for delivery to Bryant Ridge Co. in Liberty, Kentucky.
