The Pedersoli Classic 12 Gauge is a traditional side-by-side muzzleloading shotgun produced by Davide Pedersoli & Co., designed as a high-quality reproduction of 19th-century double-barrel percussion shotguns used for hunting and sporting purposes. Unlike Pedersoli’s longrifle-style firearms, this model features a break-action-style layout with twin smooth-bore barrels mounted side by side, typically around 28 to 30 inches in length, and chambered for loose black powder and shot rather than modern cartridges. Ignition is handled through a percussion cap system, with each barrel having its own external hammer and nipple, allowing the shooter to fire each barrel independently using double triggers.
