The Walther® P22® is a semi-automatic rimfire pistol that offers an ergonomic design and easy operation, making it a fun choice for plinking and informal target shooting. The pistol operates via an external hammer and a double- and single-action trigger, with a thumb safety that blocks the firing pin, and an extra safety that prevents firing in case of accidental drops. The frame is made of black polymer with a nonslip grip surface, and the pistol includes 2 interchangeable backstraps for a customized hand fit. An integral Picatinny rail facilitates the addition of aftermarket sights and lights. The ambidextrous magazine release is conveniently located for easy access with the shooter's thumb.
