The FN Browning Hi-Power is one of the most influential and successful semi-automatic pistols ever produced, combining John M. Browning's final design concepts with refinements completed by Belgian firearms designer Dieudonné Saive following Browning's death in 1926. Officially introduced by Fabrique Nationale (FN) in 1935 as the "P-35," the Hi-Power was revolutionary for its time, featuring a high-capacity 13-round double-stack magazine that far exceeded the capacity of most contemporary military sidearms. Chambered primarily in 9mm Parabellum, the pistol earned a worldwide reputation for exceptional reliability, natural ergonomics, outstanding accuracy, and a crisp single-action trigger, leading to its adoption by more than 50 countries and extensive military and law enforcement service throughout the 20th century.
