This Kimber Factory Letter documents a Kimber Pro Crimson Carry II (TF Nordic Thunder) pistol, identified by the serial number KR110900. Chambered in .45 ACP, this model is built with a 4-inch barrel, a Matte Black/Silver finish, and Crimson Trace Laser Grips. The document notes that this particular firearm was part of a special edition group originally excluded from general distribution and held within the personal holdings and private archive of Leslie Edelman, the founder and owner of Kimber. Signed by Edelman and dated February 6, 2026, the letter confirms the pistol's release from the Kimber Vault and its delivery to Bryant Ridge Co. in Liberty, Kentucky.
Although no official records exist for this specific prototype design, it can reasonably be inferred that this example was produced as a “Mock-Up” for evaluation against military specifications. Markings: The left side of the slide features factory engraved “1-151FA OIF 09-10” (The 1st Battalion, 151st Field Artillery Regiment (1-151 FA) of the Minnesota Army National Guard, part of the 34th Infantry Division ("Red Bulls"), deployed more than 500 soldiers in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom between 2009 and 2010) and an 151st Field Artillery Regiment emblem. The right side of the slide also features a factory engraved 151st emblem.
