This Kimber Factory Letter documents a Kimber Custom II (Border Patrol Academy) pistol, identified by the serial number K464921. Chambered in .45 ACP, this firearm features a 5-inch barrel, a Desert Tan finish, and wood grips. The document indicates that this specific example was part of a special edition that was withheld from general distribution to be preserved within the private archive and personal holdings of Kimber’s founder and owner, Leslie Edelman.
