This Kimber Factory Letter documents a Kimber Custom II (VFA-151) pistol, identified by the serial number K434507. Chambered in .45 ACP, this firearm is configured with a 5-inch barrel, a matte black finish, and wood grips featuring VFA-151 Emblems. According to the remarks, this pistol is part of a special edition that was originally set aside from general distribution and held within the personal holdings and private archive of Kimber's founder and owner, Leslie Edelman. The document, signed by Edelman and dated February 6, 2026, confirms the firearm's release from the Kimber Vault and its delivery to Bryant Ridge Co. in Liberty, Kentucky.
Although no official records exist for this specific prototype design, it can reasonably be inferred that this example was produced as a “Mock-Up” for evaluation against military specifications.
